What Is Bigchihuahua.com looking for in a song?

Bigchihuahua.com is presently looking for up-beat, uptempo songs about dogs.  Songs must be of a light pop , country, or folk genre.  We will also review tribute type songs.  Each song must not exceed 4 minutes.

How Do I submit a song or songs?

Each song must be on CD only.  No more than two songs must be on each CD submitted.  Along with each CD and song, persons submitting work/art must include the lyrics and any sheet music with the submission.  Also, any song, CD and lyrics not presented with proper copyright will be thrown away and not listened to nor considered for publication or recording.  You may submit an unlimited number of songs provided you follow the method described above.

Will I get my work Back?

The answer to this question is NO.  We are not returning any work.  If your work is not selected for publication and or recording, it will be destroyed.  By submitting your work, you agree to this rule.

OK, what happens when I submit work then?

When you submit work, we will normally review it with 4 weeks.  If we feel your work is suitable for our needs, we will contact you at the address you provided for further discussion.  If we do not contact you, this simply means we didn't consider your work suitable for our needs.  It's not to say your work wasn't good! 

Alright, I'm In!  I want you to hear my songs.  Where Do I send them?

When you send them, please include the following information in each package:

Your Name, complete mailing address and telephone number so that we may contact you.  We will not accept any other method of submission.  Please do not submit anything unless it is related to dogs and especially Chihuahuas!

Are there any catches to this?

Absolutely none.  This is a legitimate song search.  If you are selected for publication and or recording, you will be entitled to the same benefits as any other professional song writer and or performer.  There is no cost to submit other than the cost of your material (CD, Lyrics, MUSIC) which you must pay to get these produced to send to us.  In fact, if you have no experience with song writing and your song is good, we will provide you with the information and help to get you associated with the proper songwriting organizations which collect royalties for you!    We look forward to hearing your song and lyrics!!!!  Thanks for being a part of our project.
